The S. John and James L. Knight Foundation asked Charlotte individuals an active role in providing funds for $ 135K for Charlotte-Mecklenburg classrooms for play this spring. Song 2 Fire and Fury by David Shaffer Charlotte, NC about 84 students were selected for Honors Band in 19 Charlotte-Mecklenburg Public Middle Schools (CMS Middle Schools). Students met for the first time on Friday, March 30 8-5 PM clock, and again Saturday morning, 9 to 11:30 clock watch. Sample had a clock at 1:30, and then played to the public at 2:00 clock. The conductor is Scott Clowes of East Mecklenburg High School band director. Students have playedwonderfully together after a short period of practice. They learned to play songs in a five and a half days.
